JoeyandDavid
wow you all came up with some interesting items... For me it's members of the crew that doesn't understand what we are saying .. they just smile and nod.. they don't understand American English and i don't understand their home language it just drives me Crazie. Had you ever thought of packing a travel tumbler and just say "Filler up!" Voilàa walking around coffee thingy
cherole
Hey Joey- It's a nice idea, but then I would have to clean the darned thing out. I'm on vacation afterall
Jimmykaboots
My least favourite thing about a cruise(besides the mentioned long waits for boarding and the disembarktion(yes I cried too)) would be nincomdic teenagers that curse randomly and loudly make weird noises. This proves to be a horrifying experience as many adults walk by and whisper about the younger generation. There is always at least a group of teenagers on the cruise who have the need to yell curses and insult the waiters and ship cleaners. I find that downright disgusting and outright insulting to others.
DaCruzNut
I would have to go along with the majority....Disembarkation. OK, now the cruise is over; there's nothing more to do! Everything's closed but the Photo Shop (cash sales only..); Sitting around just waiting..... Then the lines to get off the ship! You can change tables, if you don't like your tablemates. Noisy, rude teenagers are a temporary annoyance. But, when the cruise ends, it's over....
Suzila
While I also am not fond of the disembarkation process, my least favorite thing about a cruise is what I've been doing this week....packing. It's not even the packing so much as it is making arrangements, and remembering to do everything for everyone else, and writing everything down for everyone not going with us, just so 'I' can go on a nice relaxing cruise. And this one will be short, so by the time I do unwind, the cruise will be OVER! Phooey!
KeithnRita
Our least favorite is leaving a wake-up or setting the alarm. That's why we no longer do many shore excursions. We like to stay out late and sleep late! As far as folks being rude about your profession or other things, we once went to open seating breakfast and a lady was asking everyone where they were from. When they answered she would make derogatory comments about the state they lived in. When she got to us I told her we are in witness protection and can't divulge where we live. She shut her mouth, finished her breakfast, and left!
cruisetarp
My one pet peeve is "Complainers" There always seems to be one person who you constantly meet on the ship that has nothing good to say about the ship, the food, the crew, etc. They seems to delight in having a miserable time and hope to convince you that you are having a bad time also. gymbrat33
Passengers who are rude to the crew and talk down to them. They think that they're royalty and fight with all the crew members at the purser's desk and the waiters and waitresses.
Peddler
Being on the recieving end of customers, this day and time, being talked down to is a way of life. Most customers don't realize that they are doing it....so be nice to the crew. With only 4 cruises under my belt, and being somewhat of a rebel or redneck, whatever you want to call it, I dislike the people that are putting on the airs and not just being themselves. If you live in a world that some portray, I think I'd have to change planets. Just remember we all put socks on one foot at a time. I try to only say we're from Central Texas untill pushed, because the Branch Davidian deal always shows its ugly head. Relax, enjoy, treat others as you wish to be treated, and remember, the vacation isn't over untill you return to work. JMHO.
