Space Bag for Packing

I was wondering if the space bag works and save space for packing. I usually take a rolled up nylon big duffle bag for bring stuff home. Thanks, Janice

Also, what works for me is if I take clean clothes and have the ship press only the shirts, slacks and tuxado right away. It is fairly cheap for pressing only. This way, I do not have to pack an iron, etc.

We have some but find that the extra large ziplock bags work as well. We usually only use them for dirty laundry since it seems to fit better. I use the ziplock bags for PJ's, and underwear mostly.

We like the space bags BUT we use them for dirty laundry, wet items and heavy jackets, if needed. i would be lost wihtout them for those purposes.

We had heard so much about the 2 gallon zip lock bags that for our last trip we bought some and used them for packing. It was nice to keep things organized. You are able to expel a lot of the air. Not sure if it saved me space like the space bags.

I loved mine until I found cat pee all over all over one day. I think the cat was "pissed" I was traveling so much. :wink2:

I also use the extra large zip lock bags. I pack one days worth of clothes in each bag then when the bags are empty reuse them for laundry. Keeps all my outfits organized and I just have to grab one bag each morning and it has everything I will need for the day.

Hi jaschem1!

I, also, just use them for undies and dirty clothes. It works great for that. If you use a lot of them, it would be a good idea to weigh your luggage, as I think it makes the luggage more heavy which could be a problem at the airport.

Hi we used them once for packing for our Mediterranean cruise.. i think that pushing out the air made a difference... it could have been an illusion but for our money ...we did believe they did make a difference in the wight of our luggage...
