GottaCruz
I always like to buy myself a little something. I like those Bijoux Terner stores where everything is $10. On our last cruise, I bought myself and a couple of others really nice straw pocketbooks- very well made , with some sequins around the top and even had lining and a zippered pocket inside and a zipper closing . I thought it was a great deal . They don't look like souvenirs from the Bahamas , they look like nice summer bags that you'd see in the department store. I also bought my daughter a watch there that she absolutely loved. They have a huge selection of watches. What I love about that store is I can tell my daughter , just pick out anything you want from the store- everything is $10. I used to buy a piece of Swaravski crystal from the ship store for our first few cruises but lost interest in that. I have a few that I have displayed in a lucite case . Lisa63
I'll usually buy something small that can be displayed on our cruise shelf at home -- typically one of the small pewter items (I like the bells the most). We'll also buy a refrigerator magnet, but I didn't start doing that until only a couple of years ago, so my set is incomplete. My favorite non-logo item is a handbag I bought on Diamond Princess two years ago. It is a light tan and has the design of an old world map throughout. As they say, "I saw it in the window and couldn't resist!"
Gregswife
I always buy something (okay, several things) for the grandson. I used to get a magnet from every place we traveled and from every ship, but stopped that several years ago. I was out in the backyard one time and looked into the house thru the patio doors and realized how junky the fridge looked completely covered with magnets, so I took them all down and stopped buying them. I can always find plenty of things to buy from the ship's stores though....
matchstickxx
We buy a magnet, a shot glass and a t-shirt or sweatshirt with the ship's name on it from the ship. We also buy a magnet, shot glass and t-shirt from each port of call.
mercedes
I buy the same things, along with post cards, coffee mugs and a bag with the name of the country I am visiting. On the ship, my DH loves to buy the $10 watches.

TheSkipper
Not only do we keep the sail and sign cards. I've kept every daily newsletter from everyone of our 47 cruises together with every other piece of paper that we may enjoy seeing again. Things like invites to the Captain's table and stuff like that. Also keep a daily log of every day on every ship. Used to shotglasses but now have too many. rogue
We buy all of the trinkets and whatnots that will remind us of the cruise we're on. I don't think we bought anything too expensive on the ship. Cindy will save all of her big purchases for the ports.
