SCIROCCO
Like Robert, I also save all of our sail and sign cards, don't know why, but just do. They don't take up much room . Maybe for wallpaper??? Just kidding. You can actually back them with magnets and use them on your fridge! I went crazy over those $10 watches! I think I bought about 10 of them but my grandsons loved them. I also tucked one in with a nice bag from St Thomas and linen from St Maartin for each of my girls. They thought I spent a fortune on them! Little do they know....... I of course had to have a whole set of the Larimar. I love it! One thing I did learn though - I spent days looking for a nice little evening bag and finally found one in a department store and paid a fortune for it and when I looked in the ship's shop they had much nicer ones for around $10!!! If I need anything like that again, I will wait! Have to tell about my husband. When we got off the ship at San Juan he bought 10 ball caps! He thought they were such a great deal. He's a sucker for the vendors! Jeannette Annie did the same thing She found her a nice Formal small purse for $10 and it looks like a $100.00 Purse! And Skipper I do keep a Log and save the Daily Papers as well just so Ill have a record of the Dates,Ships and Years and Ports visited! GottaCruz
I also bought myself a new evening bag before the last cruise. The ones in the Bijoux Terner store on the ship were a lot nicer AND they were only $10. My daughter still loves the watch I bought her in that store and it's already a month old and she's still wearing it. I really didn't think she' d find anything she'd like-----fussy 14 year old----------but I couldn't believe she found a nice white watch with white band and a skull on the face. Ugh!!!! But she loves it. I spent more than that on a plain little bracelet for her several times in the Straw Market and it was broken a week or 2 later. Although I'll still patronize the straw market cause they need us tourists to make a living, but now I really look forward to that $10 store.
