I am in the process of planning and saving for our first cruise. I have 2 daughters who by the time we go, will be 7 & 9 (hopefully next year).

So I'm looking for great suggestions. All sound wonderful!

I'd also have to say Alaska. overall, with the Panama Canal as a second.

For kids, I'd suggest the Caribbean, if you're into water sports, etc., or Alaska if you like adventure. My kids loved Alaska.

So far, our favorite itinerary is New England/Canada. Favorite ports within this route are Halifax and Quebec City.

At a close second is Bermuda.

Must say Western Caribbean since this is all I've done. Hope to do Alaska one day.

I've only gone to East Caribean. I love Cozumel but Sting Ray City (Grand Caymen) has been my favorite so far!

Wow, there are so many places I never even thought of cruising to. I'm really excited about my cruise coming up. I've been on many land vacations, so this should be a nice change. I'm going to the western caribbean, but it I enjoy that I might look into some other places I never even thought of!
