Casinos

I always stuck to blackjack when we went to the casinos in CT. On the ships I find I'm drawn to the slot machines. On the last cruise I hit a machine for $380. What I ended up doing, though, was play the slots until I'd lost my alotted money and then went to the blackjack table. I'd win there and then take my winnings to the slots and lose it :wacko: My husband kept telling me to stick with BJ but, darn, I do enjoy the slots :wink2:

I like roulette. In Vegas and mostly everywhere else it is a five dollar minimum bet. However, on my recent Lirica cruise the minimum bet was only a dollar. So, I'd get five more spins for my money! I put a chip down on my favorite number, 6, and won. Picked up my $35 and left.

Of course many other times I left $35 and even more at the roulette wheel. It just was nice to win on the very first spin. Probably will never happen again.

Well we live a hour drive from the casinos in MS. We will visit them about once a year, so after starting this thread I decided to make my annual trip. I took 50 dollars to gamble with and ended up loosing 15 dollars. I just could not force myself to give my money away. We opted to eat a nice meal and went home..So overall we had a nice little afternoon outing. I may do more gaming on the ship, but I really want to take in the free gambling lessons dealing with the craps table.

We visit Memphis and Tunica about once a year, just to get away for a while. Rita usually wins there playing the quarter slots.

Now for our cruises--we take money to donate to the casino. If we bring any back we consider it a win! We usually get in the slot tournaments and Rita made it to the finals once on the Celebrity Horizon. She placed 4th in the finals and won me a nice shirt. It's probably the most expensive shirt I've ever owned! :blink:

The Tables are a fast way of losing big money fast! The slots Me and Annie have never lost! Just a fact,I tried the Tables and yes I know how to play them all but I dont care for them! Some people do good some dont! Me and Annie just like the slots and we arent Big Gamblers anyways! The rest of you Good Luck on The Tables or whatever way you decide to have fun in the casinos! My Friends!

Not a gambler, I don't think I even entered the casino at all on our last cruise.

I unfortunatly (would be a big gambler if I had money) like to gamble. I like playing Craps and Roulette. I give myself a budget to play with and always keep whatever winnings I get.

I taught my friend how to play Roulette, he left with over $150 in winnings...

I just left happy :huh2:

I think of it as entertainmnet, expensive entertainment. But it's fun to me.

I'll probably just set an alloted amount for the casino and once that's gone, that's all. One friend might have a problem with gambling, especially with alcohol around so I might have to watch her lol.
