I had to see the doctor on my first cruise in 1997...he spoke Italian (Costa Romantica) but the care was very good...I had some resp. thing and high fever...got my antibiotics and was better the next day...weird.

My littlest had to see the doctor on the Disney Wonder last September....she contracted conjuncitvitis, most likely from the kids room...the doctor was great and so was the nursing staff. Another person we met had to have care for her daugher while onboard and said she wasn't really happy.

I have never seen an ashore doctor or hospital...thank goodness!
