BACK FROM FASCINATION

I don't know yet, but I will be sailing on it more often for a quick weekend getaway.

We had to slow down and not take so many weekend getaways as of this past August, since DD started HIgh School. When she was in middle school, with the early debarkation, and school not starting till 9 AM , we could get her to school in time. Now, in high school, classes start at 7:30 and since the school is on block scheduling , meaning each class is for an hour and a half, she would her first period class and since class is so long, it would be like missing 2 days of work. So, we can only cruise when school is closed. She's doing great in school this semester, so far, except for one class, which happens to be that 1st period. So, no missing school for now. We'll see what happens later in the semester.

I'm glad that Lacey's doing well in school. I missed 1/2 day on Friday and 1/2 day on Monday. I was home at 7:30 a.m. with the priority debarkation. I could've worked the whole day since I start work at 8:30. They had already hired a substitute teacher since I had requested it. Next time I'll go straight to work from the ship.
