Do you have one particular favorite shopping item you like to pick up or collect on each cruise. Maybe jewelry to match what you have or home decorating?

I like to pick up items for my house that are tropical. I like the big hanging parrots and tropical placemats, etc. Of course, I will pick up new island coffees.

Christmas ornaments for me. They're easy to pack and inexpensive. Although they can look tacky overall while decorating the tree, it's always a memory...

"oh, here is the the lace ornament from Brugges, Belgium" and so on.

BUT, the only think I check is they MUST be made in the place I am visiting. If I'm buying an ornament in Norway that is made in China, fuhgeddaboutit.

Also, I like baseball caps. Again, cheap, easy to pack and I wear them year round for golf and stuff.

Too funny... me too. I collect frig magnets from where ever I travel and if I find a cute Chrismas ornament that says something about my life (where I've gone, what I'm going or a project I'm working on) I'll add that to my Christmas stuff!

And I already collect dolphins! I have always loved the ocean and dolphins and I got tha chance to work with them for almost 3 years at Discovery Cove! SSo my frineds like to buy me dolphin stuff. On of my favorite dolphin things is an autographed print "Dance" by Bob Talbot my absolute FAV underwater/nature photographer!

:cool2: I'm a t-shirt collector. However as my user id suggests I collect other things two, namely jackets and watches. I have about 40 some watches in my collection now. I try to get a watch from every vacation as a momento. However this was a no do last August in Tahiti. Prices are ridiculous. For example a watch I paid just over $300.00 for here was $810.00 in Papeete!
