SCIROCCO
Boy that must of been one heck of a tour!
rogue
That's an incredible story. It's a shame that this happened to these people while on vacation, but it's very satisfying to here what the outcome was.

Suzila
I'm wondering what they consider an 'elderly senior citizen'. How old were the tourists? Were they in their 80's? I consider that elderly. Were they in their 60's? Classified as a senior citizen, but not elderly. I'm picturing them on this excursion, 12 friends who booked a tour on their own, not through the cruise, got held up, and took matters in to their own hands. They drove the guy to the Red Cross, then went back to the ship, in time for 5:00pm sushi. Quite an excursion.
jacketwatch
OMG! I am sorry this happened but honestly its better than having one of the victims get it. If you live by the sword.....
rogue
Sue, the article says that the man who killed the mugger was 70. No other ages were given.
Suzila
Thanks Howard. I missed that, or glossed over it. And he was a 'retired' member of the US Military, so he knew what he was doing.
SMB
AND THE SHIP WAITED......! I'd have this experience and still miss my surf-n-turf night. Way to go cruise guy... old guys can still rule!
rogue
After reading your posts, SMB, I'm sorta surprised that this didn't happen to you. Just about everything else has.
