Oh, me too! There's always room for more. We do seem to ahve an active bunch, 40 at last count, but you will be missed. The Grand will be the largest ships we've sailed to date and it's a little scary. We were on the Carnival Spirit and thought that was huge and the Grand is bigger. We're gonna need a Lo-Jack for the girl...

So what was your favorite excursion and favorite port? Any cautionary tales? Or things too good to be missed? It's our first visit there and we don't want to miss out on anything.

Cheers!

Charlie, we didn't sail there - we did a land vacation. Of course you must spend time in London, it's a blast!!!! Yes the Grand is huge but it doesn't feel like it, especially because of Anytime Dining, so you don't have 1500 people in the diningroom at one sitting... makes a huge difference.

Charlie, I think the Edinburgh Tattoo is not to be missed. I have the DVDs from 2003 to 2006 and it's great. I watch them over and over. We're planning to see the Tattoo this year, but decided to sail the QM2 in June and to see the start of the Tour de France in London. Have a great cruise!

Thanks for the head up, Rat! We are doing the Tattoo - no doubt about that! It would be a shame not to, just from the culturalaspect alone. And since I'm Scottish, I love bagpipes! We had the Black Watch appear here for a mini tattoo and it was fabulous!

Jackie and Tony - we are going to do three days in London prior to the cruise and then a week afterwards. We are taking our 14 year old god daughter with us and wanted to make sure that she got to hit all the sights that she wanted to. Me I just want to get to the BM for the Egyptian displays.

Good restaurants? Have you been to St Mark's Theater? We're looking for something close by for dinner on show night.

Cheers and thanks!

Charlie
