Have you heard this B4 about Princess

We have done 22 Princess cruises so far and have never had a problem getting traditional dining!! Like many of you I have NO interest in PC dining.

I sailed the Grand Princess last week and did not see any of what you are talking about to be an issue. The people who wanted anytime dining loved it and I opted for Traditional Dining and loved it!

I think it is handeled VERY well on this cruise line and see it as a plus to cruise with Princess. I would recommend them very much and would like to try the traditional dining next time I cruise with them.

Thanks for all the replies. After reading this thread I wonder if I made myself clear. I do mean to say have you had or know of difficulty getting a requested 1st or 2nd seating even with a fair amt. of notice, say several mos. in advance.

The only time we had trouble was when we booked at the last minute. Otherwise, we have always gotten our requested seating. We always cehck the documentation the minute it arrives to make sure, but so far, so good.

We always got the seating we wanted in the traditional dining room,but we booked about 10-12 months ahead.

We booked 5 months out and were waitlisted in the 200's for late seating. Never cleared the list and we had to have Anytime dining. We even tried the Matre'd when we boarded but no luck.

I love PC Dinning (Except on the Diamond Princess) so this does not affect me.
