TheSkipper
Well, we depart for Orlando on Saturday about noon. Since I am flying to Orange County (John Wayne) Airport tomorrow about five PM, I've had to pack for my two days at University of California, Irvine and for the Disney World Vacation and the Glory cruise. I return friday evening around 8pm and have to turn around the next morning to head for the airport for the flight to Orlando. I think I'm cutting it about as close as I dare. Packing, even for a cruise is becoming more and more of a drag for me. DW loves it! Still have to pack my formal wear and shoes, then I'm good to go. Hopefully, if I do this right, I should only have to move my Dopp Kit and electric razor on Saturday morning and hit the road for the vacation/cruise. Typing this just made me remember that I need to get all the electronics charged and ready. The video cam, digital camera, MP3 player, cell phone and all that neat stuff. NOT, taking my laptop, at least that's what I'm saying right now. Not sure why I keep putting off this packing stuff. After all the cruises I've been on, I have the logistics down pat, but, just can't seem to get started until the last possible moment. Well, bye for now. I'll probably check in from Irvine since my laptop must go with me on that trip. Look out Glory, here we come.
mercedes
Good luck with your packing. My DH never packs, he just gets to carry all the luggage Have a great time at Disney World (I haven't been there in ages) and a wonderful cruise. Mebert
The Skipper, Enjoy your packing. Remember that we can only pack a disappointing 50 lbs. at baggage check-in at the airport now, otherwise we have to pay extra for the excess weight. I hope you enjoy yourr trip. rogue
I've always hated packing, but when its done there's only one thing left to do. GO ON VACATION.
Suzila
I LOVE to pack. It means VACATION is almost here! I pack for both us...I just ask hubby which shirts, pants, etc he wants to take. I'm always packed days before we go. When we went to Alaska last summer, our friends each packed their own cases....and both of them did it the night before. I'd go beserk doing that! sailingrose
I don't know why we procrastinate packing since it means we're cruising but I can understand it Skipper. Hope you have a marvelous time!
sewut51
I've got packing down to a science. I have detailed lists stored on my computer, one for cruising, one for camping, one for quilt retreats (going on one the day after tomorrow), one for traveling with kids, roadtrip add ons, you name it. Then all I have to do is print off my list and pack it. Have a great time on your trip. Sewut
