DUNNS FALLS QUESTIONS

We are planning an excursion to Dunns Falls, could someone help me out on what to wear, clothes/shoewear. Never been so we want to go prepared. We are crusing on the Mariner on May 20th.

Hi there. You will probably want to wear shorts or your swimsuit under shorts. I wore Teva type sandals, as did one of my sons and my husband and other son had on sneakers. None of us had any problems - I assume you are talking about climbing the falls. I hope you have a great time (how could you not???).

i agree with Cheryl ... the slipon rubber shoes for climbing work good... if you wear sneakers they will get wet so maybe bring another pair with ya to change for walking later...

yes shorts .. i wore my swimsuit under shorts as Cheryl did.........its a long climb up ... i kept saying ya we are done .. our guide would just laugh .. " you have a little more to go " LOL .. but it was the best fun....

we did a tour of the cocoa fields and coffee....

Yeah Mon! We wore sneaker-type watershoes, and I wore board shorts over my swimsuit. No problem, Mon!

We wore watershoes for climbing the rocks in the Falls and swimsuits - it's such fun, I couldn't believe I actually made it all the way to the top.

Yes definately water shoes. If it's a really hot day you might want to wear a light shirt over your swimsuit. You can get the shoes at Target, K-mart, etc.

We wore Teva type sandals and swim suits. You will get wet!! But it is a great adventure, not to be missed.

I have to add ditto to everyone's comments. We wore tevas and bathing suites under our clothes and had a blast going up! There are places in the falls if you want to "go under" and get all wet you can- but you will still pretty much get soaked even if you don't.
