Gregswife
I was just watching the local news and they had a guy on there from Denver who had taped the rescue of the young man and woman who went overboard on the Grand Princess last week. It gave their names and showed pics of the male. The female is a college student here at CU and the male is a 21 yr. old Air Force Academy cadet, in Colorado Springs, named Ernesto Guzman. They story said that they were trying to re-enact the scene in the Titanic where they leaned way out over the railing when the accident occured. The Denverite said that it happened 6 hrs. after the initial sailing and it was pitch black and you could not see them but did hear their cries for help. He did get video of them actually being pulled into the rescue boat. The man received numerous jellyfish stings and the woman was unharmed. She left the ship and flew home at the first port, but Ernesto continued on the entire cruise. Passengers said he appeared to be undaunted by the incident. TheSkipper
Boy, the world is full of them!! Is this the guy who claimed that sharks tore off his clothes?? Our van driver in Port Canaveral on Saturday told us about his couple, or at least I think it was the same couple.
Mebert
That seems like a slightly different version of the original report which stated that she fell in and he went in after her - as if to rescue her. Or, did I missread.
btate
I think they left out the most important part. . . the part that calls them: IDIOTS!!!![/size]
jacketwatch
So he stayed and she left. Unlike Jack and Rose it appears their love did NOT go on.

Spikesgirl
That story was certainly different than another that I read that she was drunk and fell overboard and he jumped in to save her. Guess he threw his clothes off in a fit of efficiency or something... Some people and their children.... Charlie

radiofreebcj
Haha...any bets on what really happened? C'mon...we all know what was really going on, and why they weren't wearing any clothes. 1 - Spring Break 2 - Military Guy 3 - early 20s Put the pieces together...seems pretty obvious to me!
