JoeyandDavid
Have you forgotten the infamous Fruit fly incident!
cherole
I did this cruise in late Sept. 2005. I know that's a whole month earlier, but the weather was FAB-U-LOUS every single day! We were shocked at our good fortune, mid-upper 70's. On our 2nd day in Venice after disembarkation, we had some rain. I was pleased ONLY because it was the only time I had to whip out my jacket and was glad I didn't pack it for nothing.
Love2Travel
Like Tonia stated we only had one day of rockin and rollin- it was a sea day. I would also recommend the restaurant that Tonia mentioned in Florence. It was terrific. Congrats on your big wedding anniversary. What a specail way to celebrate. You will not be disappointed. I also agree on the smaller crowds being a plus of traveling to the med in the fall. We shared private tours in many ports...an excellent option to save money and get a more personal experieince. remember ask away... drevil
Thanks guys. Just wondering, what nationalities do you get on a cruise like this? Are there a lot of folks from the USA onboard, or do you get a lot from Europe as well?
JoeyandDavid
you get a pretty good mix of guests from all over the world
cherole
My observation of nationalities on my Med cruise in Sept. was strong American, British & Canadian followed by a smattering of Europeans. Good age mix, very few families (i.e. kids).
drevil
Sounds like a good mix alright. And the US currency onboard helps us from Australia because our dollar is better against the greenback than the euro.
JoeyandDavid
Just remember also Drevil you will be needing some Euros just for small purchases.. so plan ahead on what you may think you may need.. we used our credit card often in order to avoid carrying excessive cash.. good luck
