I had no idea that this sort of thing still happens with the technology they have these days on those ships? The captain said that they got caught in a strong current and could not do anything about it? I find that highly unlikely. To lose an entire cruise ship from neglegence seems like a crime.

I wonder if they get a refund on their fare? VERY unfortuanate.
