Crafts On Board

Has anyone done the crafts offered on board? I did the crepe flower making on the Costa. It was great fun. I made big orange tropical flowers. Pretty.....

Yes I did crafts on the only and only RCI cruise that we did. It was a Transatlantic so we had 6 sea days and a different craft each day. I've also done the pottery classes that Princess holds... they're also fun.

My daughter and I went to a craft class on Enchantment of the Seas recently, a four day cruise. Only 4 of us showed up . We made and decorated these little boxes . It was cute. I love to do crafts anyplace , anytime. I'm glad it was in the afternoon. I sleep the mornings away.

I also enjoy the crafts on the ship. I made an truly awful pair of cheap earrings, a jewelry box and got hooked on scrapbooking on a cruise. I also enjoyed the napkin folding and towel folding classes and never miss a cooking class. A fun way to pass the day and time for myself which I never take at home.

Doing crafts is a great way to feel creative and still enjoy ship actiives. I have done the ceramics, and tee shirt painting classes offered by Princess. It's a great way to have a personal memento from the ship.

Yes, I missed the t shirt painting. That would have been fun. I try to fill up all my time and do stuff available while at sea on the ship. Crafts is a great way to meet other people too. I just have to read the daily schedule better. I find I missed some fun things.....

I take a yellow highlighter and highlight all the things in the daily paper that I want to do - it works for me.

We haven't done it yet, but Cindy wants to do the scrapbooking class that they have on Princess when we cruise next year.

I love to craft - anywhere - anytime. Have glue gun - will travel.

Haven't found it on a cruise yet though, but I would love it.
