jaschem1
What is your one most favorite cruise line and why? What makes this ship the best as far as you see it? For me, I would say the Celebrity. We love the adults only aqua spa, specialty restraunts, Texas Holdem tournaments in the casino and much more. We took the Celebrity three times in a row. momwig
Since my first and only cruise was on the Millenium last October and ee had such a wonderful time -- I would have to say Celebrity has my vote too -- we are about to book the July 19, 2008 Scandinavian and Baltic Cruise on the Connie beginning in Stockholm and ending in Harwich. cherole
Joey - so nice of you guys to escort the Century to and from Europe in 2008! I vote for Celebrity, but it's the only one I have been on (twice). I don't have a huge interest in branching out as I have been quite satisifed. I'm being forced onto Carnival for a friend's birthday in January, but some folks on this board have assured me that I'll survive and might even like it. My DIE HARD Princess friends have decided that they love Celebrity's service the best, but some of Princess's food better.

zebra
Well as you can see by my signature...we have cruised many different cruise lines. I want to say this is VERY hard for me...... I think Princess has the edge for us, with Celebrity and HAL a close second.
rogue
Princess is our favorite. We have never been on Celebrity, but would like to try it one of these days.
elfed
Hi jaschem 1, Funny you should mention Celebrity as your favourite line. Our last cruise was on the Celebrity Century. It was last year's New Year's Cruise 2006/7. We thought the food and service were outstanding apart from a somewhat rushed early sitting in the dining room. However the cruise itself was the worst we've ever been on!! No energy was the major complaint. The cruise director and staff were clueless on how to generate any kind of atmosphere The ship seemed to shut down for the night after 11p.m. Even the New Year Celebrations only lasted until 1-15a.m. A large portion of passengers were over 65. Nothing wrong about that of course but we felt we were in an old folks home instead of on a cruise! My wife who is 52 had to start the sailaway party as the CD couldn't get anyone interested! It was bizarre! Our favourite cruise line? Well I would say Carnival followed closely by Princess and Hal. As regards best ship it would have to have been on the late Costa Riviera. Regards, James. Spikesgirl
Have to admit that we have tried other lines, but we keep coming back to Princess. We just feel very comfortable with them and believe that they go the extra mile. As for our favorite ship, that would be a toss up between the Tahitian and Pacific Princess. since they are sister, they are identical and we have enjoyed every minute that we have sailed upon them. We lament that they are not 'world' cruisers, but stay with one or two itineraries as we would sail with them anywhere. Charlie
