Change in Itinerary

I am booked on the Carnival Freedom to the Med/Greek Isles on June 15, 2008 with DH and DD. I received a letter from Carnival changing the scheduled port of Rhodes, Greece to Marmaris, Turkey. Did a quick search and was not too impressed with Marmaris, but Carnival did say that they offer optional shore excursions to Rhodes from Marmaris for those people wishing to go. On the bright side, got a call from my vacation planner at Carnival giving me a discount of $300.00 off my cruise, and a $200.00 on board credit for being a past guest, not too shabby. :smile:

Sorry about the change Mercedes but Hey! A cruise is a cruise and look at the extra Bucks you got as well so not all is lost Huh!

Actually yopu did very well I think Mercedes. You got a nice rebate AND you can still see Rhodes as well as Marmaris. Bravo!

I received a call last night from my vacation planner, giving me another $300.00 discount off my cruise. So far $600.00 off and a $200.00 on board credit :smile:
