I will say this since the stardust is gone which was the hotel I liked because of price and amenities..

I was thinking for our next weekend in Vegas maybe staying more downtown than on the strip...

Thoughts? comments , nose bleeds?

I too stayed at the Stardust... I am easy I am willing to stay anywhere....Any Las Vegas cruisers wish to put us up for a nite ?? LOL...

the stardust .. was tacky it was smelly .... the restaurants sucked for air IMHO ... but we got bogo $39 dollar nights and I would win at their slots ...LOL

We have stayed at quite a few places in Vegas, and one of my favs is Fitzgerald's on Fremont Street. It is off the strip, but still has the whole Vegas feel with the Fremont Street Experience, as they call it. Can't say for sure if we will go if it is Feb., as that will more than likely be bad weather time and I want to drive there...

I won't go if it's Feb. either. We're driving too and Feb. is too prone to fog here in the valley. And isn't Feb when TM 1 is? I was thinking late March or early April. Give all the TM 1'ers time to rest up. And it gives those of us who need our refund to be able to go, time to get it! :biggrin:
