CanadianCruiser
Has anyone from the troublemaker group been here other than myself ? We have been several times. It is Rex's favorite island. He loves Coki Beach. Which is amazing cause he is not a beach person unlike me I like a few other beaches a bit better, BUT for snorkeling COKI beach is my favourite hands down.... PJnVA
I think that is why he like it. Even though he does not snorkel (can't breathe) he does swim with swim goggles. That and he like to play dominoes with the Postman. It has been several years since we have been and he is looking forward to it this November. Chucksta63
OK I think I have figured this one out... I am going to be here B2B weeks so the first week I am going to take the Champagine Cat Cruise over to St. John it is a 4.5 hour deal.... The second week I am going to check out St. Thomas with the sky ride & town tour....
Chucksta63
Enjoy the best of the Virgin Islands, on board a custom designed catamaran, as you sail from beautiful Charlotte Amalie Harbor to the enchanted island of St. John. On this excursion you will: [*]Take a short ride to the marina and step aboard the catamaran for a fabulous sail to St John. [*]Sail along the south side of St. Thomas and glide through Current Cut on the eastern end of the island. [*]Enjoy a brisk sail across Pillsbury Sound to its special anchoring destination. [*]Have approximately one and a half hours to swim, snorkel, beach comb or simply sit back and relax under a shady palm tree. [*]Enjoy freshly baked breads, cheeses, fruits and a variety of beverages onboard. Champagne and other beverages are complimentary after swimming and snorkeling. [*]Relax on the pleasant 45 minute return sail back to beautiful St. Thomas. Note: Guests must be able to navigate a 6-step ladder through a hatchway on a moving vessel to access space-restricted restroom facilities. Guests entering the water must be able to re-board the vessel without assistance. All snorkel gear and instruction included, as well as the champagne buffet and open bar. Don't forget your swimsuit, towel and sunscreen. Beach stop is typically on Honeymoon Beach off St. John, but may be substituted to enhance your experience if conditions warrant. Chucksta63
St. Thomas Skyride whisks you 700 ft. above the town of Charlotte Amalie. As one of the "must do" attractions in the Caribbean, the skyride carries 24 passengers every seven minutes along its 8 tower ascent of Flag Hill. Once you "Ride the View" to Paradise Point the true meaning of limin' is revealed, high above the hustle and bustle of St. Thomas Harbor. Slowly wander our Nature Trail & enjoy the local flora & fauna. Don't miss the view from our Wedding Gazebo. Grab your camera, breath-taking photos are guaranteed all over the property. No matter whether its a quick one hour stop or your destination for the day, be sure to enjoy a long cool drink on our observation deck... this might not be the end of the world, but you can see it from here! Work up an appetite while you hunt for Caribbean treasures in our unique shops. During a midday break, you'll find everything from a light snack to a full lunch on our delicious menu. Three times daily, exotic birds perform...after the show get your picture taken with a parrot on your shoulder - pirate style! Stick around and listen to local musicians featured most afternoons. Paradise Point isn't just for day-trippers though. Watching a sunset from here is a memorable event. Voted "Best Live Entertainment Venue" in 2005, we know how to party mon! Romantic evenings & sunset dinners round out the nightlife up on the hill. All in all, St. Thomas Skyride to Paradise Point, "Best Tourist Attraction 2007", is an experience you won't want to miss! CanadianCruiser
I have a contact in St. Thomas and for $ 25 per person he takes you to town, ( straw market ) island tour to a lookout much nicer thn the sky ride and then the beach and returns you to the port with enough time to shop around the pier until the ship leaves
