We were in San Juan in Dec for a day and we took a ship tour to El Yunque Rainforest. It was a nice bus ride and the scenery (sp) was something else. The bus driver gave a bit of a tour in the forest when we parked then had us go along a path by our selves to see one of the falls then back to the bus. We got back into Old San Juan early enough to walk around and check the area out. (we were docked in Old San Juan).

Bacardi does have tours that start at about 9am, and from what I heard it gets very busy.

Just a reminder, you can't carry liquor on a plane anymore. Not sure it's still such a good deal if you have to pay to ship it home to purchase more than you can drink. Guess you can always throw away some clothes you brought to make room for liquor in your checked luggage. LOL :biggrin:

This is good for the folks who live close I guess you can pack it in luggage. Me I live in New Hampshire we have no tax on these items so it is just like duty free up here. Last cruise I bought 4 bottles of booze all 5th's for $20 total to take with me on the cruise, Booze is cheep up here...

I thought I saw that Carnival is offering an evening Rum factory tour. May be staying open later now if there is enough interest? Missing a chance to sell booze. :huh2:
