I'd check with the shore excursion desk but still go out on my own. You never know what a port is like until you see it and it could be a hidden gem. If I didn't like it, I'd be back on the ship in a flash enjoying a drink at the bar with Bill! LOL

You have just arrived at your cabin & you find a bottle of Champagne & chocolates in there. Do you open the champagne right away or do you save if for another time on the cruise?

We'll save it for some other time. When we were in Alaska, we had a glacier champagne party with friends in College Fiord. That was a real blast.

We wouldn't open it, we'd give it away as neither DH nor I drink Champagne. The strawberries stay with me of course. LOL
