I like to be back on board at least an hour before we sail so I can get a tall drink, go out on my balcony and watch the late comers running down the pier at the last minute.

We usually are back to the port area about an hour and a half before final boarding but 1 hour prior at the latest. I am so paranoid of getting left. :ohmy:

I agree no later than an hour prior for us too. Never want to be one of those runners that we love to watch.

We try to be back on the ship at least an hour early so we can get a couple of drinks down and hang on the balcony and heckle those that are late returning!! alt text

An hour before at least. EXCEPT in Puerto Vallarta. We took the "Pirate Excursion" (can we say OPEN BAR). It doesn't return until about a half hour before the ship is due to leave. And it's about a 15 minute walk from the pirate docking to the ship. When you're sober. After a few hours of open bar and "tequila conga line" it was a little harder to walk. So the UNOFFICIAL excursion when in Puerto Vallarta is to sit on a balcony and watch all the pirate party boat people weaving around and trying to make it back on the ship. But the pirate boat was a BLAST!!! I highly recommend it. There's more about it and pictures on my Pride website. Link is in my signature.

I would say an hour - we also love the "late comers" - some of them can really run - and then there are the ones who have to hire a boat to bring them out to the ship - that's an extra laugh bonus tee-hee.

I like to be back early...about an hour or so. Gives me time to take a quick shower and grab a drink or two then holler at the folks running to catch a boat that hasn't pulled up the gangway...let alone started moving!! LOL
