Sometimes we dress up on formal nights, but last cruise, I didn't take any gowns and Greg did not pack his tux. We decided ahead of time that we were going to just relax the whole time. Greg did not even put on a pair of long pants until the last night of the cruise, which was the only time we ate in the dining room. The other 6 nights, we ate at the Lido deck buffet.

Do you buy clothes in different ports? If so do you wear them on the ship during that cruise?[/size]

Do you pack lighter knowing your going to buy some clothes to wear on the ship from the ports?[/size]

Yes, I always buy a polo and a t-shirt from every port, but I do not wear them during the cruise.

I thought of just buying clothes as I needed them & pack real light....lol

Just the basics packed....This is why I don't worry about leaving something at home to wear...I can allways buy a tee shirt.

I buy t-shirts for gifts. But haven't bought things for myself. That many change this next cruise though as I plan to be several sizes smaller!

There's a kamrt in 2 of the 4 ports were going to on both cruises.... heck buy all your essentials there....lol

I figured out that if I buy shirts at the ports we stop at I might need to buy another suitcase...lol
