I don't like tenders for the fact that I have a bum knee. Last time when I went to get back on the ship, just as I put one foot on the stairs to get back on the ship, the tender rocked on a wave & my knee got bent more than it likes! I like ports so you can come & go as you like!

I like to port. No bad experiences with the tenders, except a long wait on the water while we were in Hawaii (I can’t remember which island) waiting for other passengers from other ships to disembark.

prefer docking in port. Mainly for the convenience of getting on and off the ship. There is something kinda cool though about being in the tender coming up on the ship and realizing how HUGE the ship is! Never had a really bad experience tendering....but did have some rough seas when tendering to Catalina. Didn't bother me....but hubby was a little green. :sick:
