Question of the day!

Do you collect anything when you cruise or vacation? Some like to get foreign money from each port what do you like to get?

I do get the currency and I always get a beer koozie....

I don't collect it for myself....but Jeannette collects shot glasses so I always bring her some when I travel. But hopefully....if her man isn't deployed somewhere she'll be cruising with me!!

The first thing I buy when the shops on board open is a large coffee mug with the ship name or itinerary on it. I use it during the cruise (sure beats those small coffee cups they have in the morning) and hang them above my kitchen cabinets when we get home.

I always buy shot glasses, plates, polo and t-shirts, magnets, post cards, coffee mugs and a tote bag with the country's name that I am visiting on it. I also get something that represents the area I am visiting, i.e., miniatures of the Eiffel Tower, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, a gondola/mask from Venice, etc. That is why I always have to pack an extra bag in my luggage… lol
