SmooCruise
we prepay our tips and excursions before we board. Our S&S for the Pride last year was around $700. That's for booze, bingo and a few items from the shops on board.
hazelson
Usually about $300 - with tips and photos, and shopping.
Gregswife
I don't think ours has ever been below $1000. I have a feeling it will be higher than ever on the Loco cruise. I don't know why I think that our bar bill will be costlier than usual, but it is my prediction it will be.

TheSkipper
Jeeez I must be a tightwad. But, Ive also cruise a lot more that most of you. On a cruise originating in the U.S. after the tips our bill is seldom over $100. We seldom take cruise line excursions because we have visited most of these places many, many times. You could not pay me to go to bingo, we have all the cruise pictures we will ever need and we are not really big drinkers. Now on a European cruise, our excursions will usually run over $2,000. Also at art auctions I've been known to buy as many as ten pieces, so that can add up quickly. However, our walls are pretty well filled so we are buying much less art. Don't ask how much we spend ashore, but we got Christmas cards last year from three Virgin Island Jewelers, so you know we are on the "A" list. sailingrose
If it's only Howie and I probably about $400-$500 tops. We've had bills in the low $200's if we have a lot of ship board credits.
Suzila
Our low was $0. That was before the cruise lines started applying the tips to the account and we gave the tips to the crew at the end of a cruise in envelopes. It was also on a cruise where we did no excursions because we had been on that cruise many times before and didn't need to do any guided tours. Our high was higher than usual. That's because for our 30th anniversary Ray bought me a ring with three diamonds onboard (one diamond for every 10 years of marriage). I have no idea how much it was because it was a gift and he didn't want me to see how much it was. But, on a cruise we have the tips, the excursions, and maybe $30 extra on the account. Very little. We don't drink alcohol, so that keeps the expenses down for us.
