TheSkipper
Just a year ago we cruised on the Crown Princess with another couple from Las Vegas. He was in Stage 4 cancer of the brain. I did not think he should go, but he was determined and they made the trip. I could see he was having a tough time, but he would never admit it. If I asked how he was he would reply "Me, I'm fine!". As sad as it was, I'm now glad he made the trip. He died at age 60 and this turned out to be his last cruise. I know this is not exactly what you had in mind with your question Chuck, but It's as close as I can come with a "real world" experience. sailingrose
Ed that is what I'd do, go on a cruise. Sorry for the loss of your friends but think of the great memories and how much he enjoyed the sea.
Chucksta63
Question of the Day! Where do you like to meet on the ship for a pre sail away party with others? Or where do you like to be at sail away?
CanadianCruiser
I would like to meet on the highest part of the ship for a group sail -a- way or somewhere not so crowded with hubby and child...
Chucksta63
I really enjoyed my balcony last time. I did not even know we were pulling out till it was to late to go meet folks. So the wife & I enjoyed the balcony together & it was very nice!
rogue
We're almost always on our balcony for sailaway. We go up there right after the lifeboat drill and relax for sailaway. We'll stay there for about 15 th 30 minutes, then go up on deck for the party and to get pictures.
mickey02454
On both our cruises after the muster drill we would go back to the cabin to put away the life jackets just to find out we were moving. We went to the balcony not wanting to mis anything thats where we stayed until dinner time. That will not happen this time!!
