lock luggage?

We use the TSA locks as well - lost one on the last trip but the airport is sending us the money to replace it - they admitted to losing a lot of them lol.

Jennifer: We also lost one and I didn't think about asking the airport for another but in the bag w/o the lock guess what we found, besided the broken lock of course? Unbelievably we had "presents" so to speak. There were chargers for Nokia, Sony and Minolta products and none of them were ours! All I can say is there muct have been a free for all in baggage inspection. I do feel bad for the preson who lost these itmes but I can imagine any way to trace it to them. We decided to discard these items.

We used to just use the colored luggage straps and leave our luggage unlocked. Hubby says they're pretty easy to get into anyway. We do use the TSA locks now, though.

We too use the TSA locks. No problems so far. Don't know about overseas customs, but USA custom officer told me they had a key to every lock. It's called a "Crow Bar." If they want in they are gonna get in.
