frostyboy64
I used cruisesonly.com for the first time to book my cruise in Sept and i was on-line today and seen that they lowered the price of the stateroom i booked in march. i called them and they said they would not lower my price because i payed it in full if i was making payments on it then i could get the discount? i do not understand this? i have booked on royal Caribbeans & cruises.com before and they called me and let me know the price went down. or if i wanted a free upgrade. this is the biggest cruise web-site going(they say) and they can not lower my cruise? i do not get it. i will never use them again. have you used cruisesonly.com?? or have you had this problem?<] just venting i guess. i will get over it because i love to cruise but it's not rite. Gregswife
This upcoming cruise is the only one we have not booked thru CruisesOnly. I booked this one directly thru Carnival, using a travel planner that Maria recommended. Our planner told me that one of the advantages of booking directly thru them was that I would get any prices drops which would not occur with CruisesOnly. I did not know that C.O would give you the lower rate if you had not paid the total cost yet. Previously, their prices were greatly discounted, but the past few have been about the same cost as the actual cruise lines and according to our agent at Cruises Only, that was because they bought large blocks of cabins on each ship and they got a discounted price and passed it on, but they no longer get those price breaks. Don't know if this is really the case or not. After talking directly to Carnival and getting the same price thru them, but with some incentitives thrown in, I don't see any reason to use Cruises Only again. Regardless, I hope you have a marvelous trip....
SCIROCCO
Im like Cheryl, I only book through the cruiselines PVP! Its free and you get the Same prices as anyone can give and also your Dealing directly with the cruiseline, the only thing is that you have to keep on top of your booking to see if theres a price drop because they wont call you! You have to call them, Ive gotten two price drops of $40.00 each a total of $80.00, thats more moola for the Casino or Bingo!
sailingrose
We used them years ago for one of our first cruises and never used them again. They just didn't cut it in the service department.
