Another Rare Photo

I thought this would be an interesting and rare photo to share....This was taken at some point when the Carnival Ecstasy was drydocked in Baltimore for maintenance:

Wow that's indeed very rare.. looks strange seeing I've only been on ''warm'' cruises..! You would say they would do it somewhere inside.. most be a really hard job trying to de-ice it!

I think there were pictures a couple years ago of the Norwegian Dawn all covered in snow the first day of a cruise. Rumour is that New York City does get the odd snowstorm, and that ship was (Is?) sailing year round from NYC.

Gee, that sort of looks the way our first day to Alaska felt! No snow, but it sure was cold. They never even open the pool that cruise.

NYC gets more than just the "odd snowstorm".......that's what keeps us from booking a winter cruise from there even tho we could drive to port. I don't want my illusions ruined by seeing snow on the Lido deck

Can't even imagine wanting to swim in the pool on the Alaska cruise - heck I hadn't even planned on shaving my legs :o)
