On our last trip to Cozumel we went to Paradise Beach. Very nice beach area with a restaurant where we had the best guacamole ever. We arrived in Cozumel along with the tail end of hurricane Ernesto last year so we only spent some time at the restaurant and did not venture out onto the sand. We would definately go back there again though

Marylou is right about the food. I've been going to Paradise Beach for several years now. It is rocky there, but it only lasts for a few steps. Tom runs the place and he's a great guy. Try the nachos!!!!!

It's been a while but DH and I think somewhere around $10-15 per cab each way. Since the hurricanes things have gone up in cost in Cozumel. They are still recovering and probably will be for years.

Type in a search for Paradise Beach Cozumel, they have a website with the menu and other info.

We paid 12 a cab in Jan. Paradis Beach is the best. We've been 3 times. Tell Tom the mgr that the Donna say Hi..

We went to Cozumel last July. Unfortunately, I can't give you any advice on the beaches. We ate/drank at Senor Frogs (Carlos and Charlies) all day. We ate, drank, and enjoyed each other's company. We danced on our chairs, and watched drinking contests. Sounds crazy, but it was the greatest time. I recommend this restaurant/bar for fun. :wacko:

In March of this year we went to a Beach Resort on a one day all inclusive pass. Included the use of all their facilities, including a great pool, changing rooms, fantastic beach with lots of chairs and some shade, also the use of their non=moterized water equipment like kayaks, etc. Had a trampoline in the water as well a an inflated rock climbing wall. It also included all your food and unlimited drinks. All for $40 per person.

We were there for both breakfast and lunch and had a fantastic time.
