Chuck,

We did an aft cabin on the Galaxy some years ago. It was fine. We were up on deck 10 so got away

from the screw noise. I am not much of a sun person so I enjoyed the quiet of the aft deck for lounging.

Many folks don't like aft cabins since they tend to be noisier and if you run into bad weather you will

feel the motion of the ocean alot more. Sea movement doesn't bother me since I love it when it is

rough but most people don't like it. Don't have any pics handy but I know I have some and will try

to dig them up. Hope your cruise is all you want it to be.

Cheers

Tim

Hey Chuck...We did the Aft (9160) on both the Mediterranean run and the panama canal run both on celebrity.. the balconies are just wonderful especially when there are no flies...

We loved having breakfast on it when weather allowed ... definitely a good choice!

We had the aft balcony on the Triumph this past January and it was wonderful. I didn't hear any noise actually it was so quiet and relaxing. The balcony is bigger than the others. Actually it is longer and a little wider( i think 75 sq. ft.) I would most certainly do it again. We had cabin #8434 on the Verandah deck. I will try to post some pictures of the balcony.

Add us to the list of aft cabin fans. The only downside is that it is a long walk back to the cabin at the end of a busy day - the good part is you walked enough to earn that second dessert.

Have only had aft cabins on RC but on the Voyager class we had 2 chairs a small table and 2 lounge chairs and still had plenty of room to move around.
