Before you were crazie

I personally only began cruising a few years back, but when you first learned you were going o a cruise, what did you think, any expextations?

Good question, Brady. I wondered if it would be anything at all like what I saw on the show "Loveboat".

I thought I might have to carry my life jacket around with me. Yeah, I know it sounds really silly, but I was a little nervous and didn't know what to expect. I got over that really quickly when I realized it's just a really great resort on the ocean! (With a bar around every corner!)

My actual 1st cruise qwas back in 1975, and I really don't remember too much from it. The thing that really stuck in my mind was being seasick as we passed the Statue of Liberty. Because of that, I was afraid I would be seasick the whole next cruise I took in 1999. I took medications and never had a hint of sickness on the cruise. I've never worried about it since.

I expected the ship to be rocking and rolling, but it wasn't.

Thought I would definately get seasick - in spite of the patch and thought I would be bashing into walls from all the waves. I also thought I would get panicky if I couldn't see land - but I was wrong - so very wrong lol.

I went on circle line the day before and thought it'd be the same just as rocky

I was thinking Love boat too. Guess it was the Love Boat.......we were honeymooners!
