MrsAmanda7
We're cruising to St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Princess Cays Island with Princess Cruises. We are so excited. We cruised on Caribbean Princess last year, however, it was on the Western tour to Jamaica, Mexico, Grand Cayman, and Princess Cays. It was our first cruise. we don't want to travel any other way now. We are sooooo hooked. Already planning next year's cruise. Same ship with yet another itinerary. CanadianCruiser
I didnt do any REAL shopping in either of these ports, I do know items I looked for were cheaper in St. Maarten. ( Electronics ) In St. Maarten, be sure to grab a bottle of Guavaberry Liqueur, and be sure to hit a beach in both of these ports, the beaches are beautiful... MrsAmanda7
I live for the beach. That's all we do besides some shopping. We're not too kean on excursions. I'll have to remember the liquor. Does it taste sweet?
CanadianCruiser
I wont tell you about the guavaberry, just buy it... In St. Maarten I loved Orient beach, there is a nudist area near the end..... But dont worry...lol They ahve great food on the beach and in St. Thomas for snorkeling I loved Coki beach, not the GREATEST beach but doable and the fish come right to you, no need to really use a mask the water is so clear you can see them swim around you
SmooCruise
Have a great cruise Amanda! I can't wait to see pics and hear all about it!
MrsAmanda7
I'll definitely take your advice about buying the guavaberry. I'll try the beach, and will allow my husband to glance over at the nudist section. He'll get a kick out of it. Do people really get naked? Well, enough dirty talk out of me. Can't wait to sit on the beach. Is Coki beach far from Magen's Bay?
MrsAmanda7
Thanks, Smoo! Perhaps you could give me more information about your Lei'd at the Luau cruise. We're hoping to look into Hawaii then.
