OceanAngel
Carnival Cruises has announced that it has picked up the Western Agents Votes of Excellence (Wave) award for the top alternative dining facility. The company was recognised with the gong for its Harry’s Supper Club restaurant on board its Carnival Liberty liner. Harry’s is a 108-seat eatery offering a wide-ranging gourmet menu with dishes including prime aged-beef, while cruise holiday passengers can also select a fine vintage from an extensive wine list. The restaurant is an exclusive haven on board the 2,974 passenger ship, with guests requiring an advance reservation to dine in its stylish environs. Bob Dickinson, president and chief executive officer of Carnival Cruises, said: "Carnival strives for excellence in every facet of our operations." "Receiving these awards from TravelAge West is a gratifying endorsement of these efforts." From July 15th 2007 until May 10th 2008, Carnival Liberty will set sail on a number of six-to-eight day western and eastern Caribbean cruises, with passengers embarking from Miami and Fort Lauderdale in Florida. GottaCruz
OceanAngel, Thanks so much for this post. I'd love to sail the Liberty one day. I think it was gymbrat, who posted some great pictures of of the Liberty. A friend of mine just returned from the Liberty and raved about it. My dad, who meant the world to me and passed away almost 4 years ago, was Harry so that makes it even more meaningful. Hopefully, one day soon, I will sail her.
