CanadianCruiser
Most cruises are NOT all inclusive. If they were, the price of the cruise would be much higher. Here are my 10 things one should know costs extra. They are in no particular order. Most are costs that get added to your on board account to be settled at the end of the cruise but a couple do require cash. Soda Laundry mat Duty free shops Alcohol Specialty shop Upscale Restaurant Spa Gambling Excursions Tipping Many cruise lines now do an auto tipping system of some sort for your dining room servers adn cabin stewards, in which the tip amount (varies by line but averages 10/day/person) is added to the bill at the end of the cruise along with all the other things listed above. If you know of more please post them Lisa

OceanAngel
Good Tips Lisa, just to clarify the porter tips are not in with the auto tipping on the ship.

CanadianCruiser
Oh yes the Photos... lol I wanted to mention but forgot, while sailling out of Port Canaveral the last couple of times, there was a sign in the terminal saying the porters are Terminal employees and therefore a tip is not required. Anyone else notice this ?
OceanAngel
Yes I did but they still looked for it. LOL Old habits are hard to break!
hazelson
Great post Lisa - all inclusive cruising is NOT! But apart from the actual tipping and tipping and tipping all the rest is optional so you can go as cheap (like us) or as expensive as you want. We usually buy a couple of the photos though - they make great souvenirs.
jacketwatch
Very true. You do have to be careful about all those pics especially. They can really add up.
