Did he up and leave just like that or did he give a reason? Its hard to imagine he would leave w/o giving an announcement of some sort as active and committed as he was here.

He got up and left my cruise website a long time ago, but that's just because my site sucked...haha. I do know that he has serious health issues, and I hope that he hasn't gone silent because of those issues. I hope that he's well, and my thoughts are with him...he's a good guy, and hopefully he's just busted his computer or something :)

I really hope so too. Does anyone have his phone number? I know David never posts, so I wonder if we'll ever know what happened if Joey has passed away. I don't have his number anymore, but perhaps someone here does?

He's a great guy, and I do hope that it's nothing serious...but I have known Joey for years, and I do know that this is a possibility that we've all been taking seriously for quite some time. He actually invited me to come and videotape his Panama Canal cruise, as he thought it might be his last, but I was unable to do the trip. I kind of wished now that I would have been able to have found the time and money to have gone and done that for him and David. If he's gone, then it's really a sad day...if not, Joey...I'm gonna kick some butt when you and David get up here to Vancouver!

I spoke with him for a bit on the phone today. He sounded well, and it was good to hear that he was okay. I can understand the "taking a break" reasoning...it is summer, after all. :)
