Cruise Formal Wear ..... ladies?

Slacks or skirt (dress) on formal night????

I prefer fancy pants myself - but then I do not like wearing heels (bad back).

I always wear a long eveing gown. I did recently ge a pair of black evening pants that have a shooer, chiffony type skirt over them, so I may wear them on the next cruise.

i have my duty black dress pants and different tops LOL LOL ....don't ever look at my pic's ... but i am bidding on some new tops on e bay right now....

so maybe something different in the pictures.....this time LOL LOL .....

i just can't handle hose ( i just hate them )and can't wear the heels either... i did just buy a cute pair of shoes.. ( ok i was on shoe restriction , but i blew it ) low sandals like ....with gold silver bronze across the top , and just a single strap across the back ... my feet swell sometimes and the pumps last time didn't fit while on the cruise... so i found a pair of sandals this time...

I have always worn mid length fancy dresses, but prefer pants myself. I just order one of those chiffony type pants that Cheryl mentioned for my next cruise. Jenn, I don't like wearing heels either, in fact the only time I wear heels is when I am on a cruise, never to work

My wife has taken to waring one of her beautiful saris or other types of Indian formal wear. Quite lovely!

For me it depends on the location of the cruise, the length of the cruise, etc.

I wore a full length gown on our Panama Canal cruise that was 12 days, and our Alaskan cruise that was 7 days.

I wore very dressy pants and a sequined/lace blouse to Mexico.

I wore a short dress in Hawaii.

I only wear flats. Can't wear heels anymore.

... for some reason all my dresses are purple - go figure!!!

Why is that Jenn ? I have 3 closets of clothes and only one of the dresses is purple.
