hazelson
... maybe it has something to do with the five red hats hidden on the top shelf - but keep it secret lol.

btate
I must say that if you want to look elegant, I would say you have to wear some sort of skirt, dress or other for women. Call me old fashioned, but if I wore slacks and a nice shirt as opposed to a tux, I would not be as formal as I could be. Just my two cents. hazelson
But women's pant suits are considered formal.....but they have to be soft and flowing - silky and shimmery - well you get the idea. it's just hard to wear a skirt of any length if you can' wear heels .... try it sometime tee-hee. Haze
I think it depends on the cruise line. We have travelled a lot with cunard and Evening attire is a must. I wear beaded black dresses a lot. On other cruise line like HAL I have worn very dressy pants or pant suites.
hazelson
I guess that would make a difference - we prefer Carnival so my get up seems to work lol.
Sunbeam
I wear about everything in different darker colours: long skirts with sequined tops, long dresses, dressy pant suits. But what I really prefer is the long dresses with fancy sandals (I still can wear them) with cute little purses. That is why I really like cruises, so that I play dress up a couple of nights.
