OceanAngel
I been on a 8 dayer, could have gone longer!!
rogue
We did a 9 day last year, and that was great. I think that I would have no problem stretching it to 10. I wouldn't mind a 14 day cruise, but it's hard to get the time off.
mercedes
I love the longer cruises. We have done several 12+ day cruises to Hawaii and Europe. Another 12 day to the Greek Isles next June and to the Baltic in '09.
SCIROCCO
I have only taken a 7 Day Cruise Im thinking of a B2B when Annie retires, right now 7 Days is Enough!

TheSkipper
We go for the longer cruises. At least 12 days, but longer is better. B2B's are great too. We did one on NCL, returned to Ft. Lauderdale and boarded a Carnival ship for the second week. Fantastic. If you fly any distance, and not many cruise ships stop in Las Vegas, seven days just is not long enough, IMHO. elfed
Great question. The norm: for us has been 7 days or less. Next May we will be taking our longest to date at 9 days. Hope I didn't feel like I did after an 8 day Caribbean out of New York off the Carnival Legend back in 2004. Then I'd had enough of the "sameness" of the daily schedule,announcements,food-yes even the food. I longed for the mundane home cooking we normally have!!! Regards, James. Dan
4 7's and a 10 so far and we loved them all. The 10 was really nice, especially since it costed less than the 7 day one we did a year earlier LOL. Would like to try the 15 day round trip to Hawaii that my inlaws did last year. Getting time off is one problem, and making arrangements for the kids is the other bigger problem. As Frostyboy says, 4 would be a nice long weekend away, if I lived right there. But if I'm goign through the expense and aggravation of flying in, it will be at least 7 days for me.
hazelson
James - longing for home cooking - you never hear a woman say that lol. Agree with Dan on the "kids" thing - our is dogs and birds lol. But then this gal seems to have a "pasty butt" lol....so what do I know tee-hee! Joanandjoe
If we had unlimited vaction time, we'd take the longest cruise we could find. We've had a 14 (really, 2 B2B 7's), an 11, a 10, an 8, and several 7s. It takes us several days to get completely relaxed, so 7 days is really too short, and we wouldn't consider anything shorter. Given my limited vacation, 10-11 days works best; but that length is hard to find.
