John H has posted pictures of the Walk for the Cure of his web site. The shirits are white with pink ribbon on the chest! He wrote about how is was accepted also here is the link.

Wow, OceanAngel. Thanks so much for the link to those photos. That's very emotional for me. What a great job John did and what a great bunch of people those passengers are. Tara is one , brave woman.

We did it - Crazie and I and about 100 others - mostly women but a few good men lol.

It's a minimum $10 donation (I gave $20 because Crazie wanted to help out too!). Four times around the deck (not the jogging tack) and it was on the last sea day - they said it was one mile. Warm and sunny.

Carnival holds on to $2.50 of each $10 to cover the cost of the tee-shirts. The group photos were also available for purchase.

It was very emotional. One lady pinned a sign one her shirt that read "12 year breast cancer SURVIVOR" and several ladies were "walking to remember" - and there were lots of tears and lots of hugs all around.

If you get the chance - do it - the money raised should be astronomical.

How many laps is that? Is it timed? NOt sure what pace my knee will go or if it will let me do the whole thing but I will try!!!!

Maybe I should take it easy with Crazie for this,,,, her little legs are short....hehehehe

It is once around the ship and no you are not timed..... SO you can do this, With all of the weight you have lost heck I could probably piggy back you .... LOL
