Ol39Capt
It would depend on if there was things for us to see or do at a port. We don't climb hills, water ski or snorkle. A little shopping and some sight seeing and back to the ship to relax...
Joanandjoe
I love sea days, but it's good to stretch my legs ashore, even if I'm not interested in the port. If I wanted to do just sea days, I wouldn't take a cruise that goes to a lot of ports, Instead, I'd do a crossing on Cunard, or take a "naked Transatlantic" itinerary that goes to either no ports or a minimal number of ports. Windstar and Sea Dream do Transatlantics with no ports, while Regent does Transatlantics with very few ports. The cost of repositioning cruises with no ports is relatively low: luxury cruise lines at a Carnival price.
Longboysfan
Wife loves sea days. Just sit out and enjoy. Also we have been to just about all the ports in the Caribbean many times and just go for a short walk - maybe. If we dock early I run on land then see what is about there. The ship is the trip for us.
jacketwatch
I would have to go on shore. Otherwise there's nothing to talk about during dinner
