Donna, given the circumstances, I can certainly understand why you choose not to take your older boy on a cruise. I also totally comprehend how special that one on one time is to you. My grandson and I used to have "Noni (that's what he calls me) and Scotty" day once every 2 weeks - we would go to lunch, then to the Children's Museum or the zoo or wherever he picked - just the 2 of us. We don't get to do that now that he is in school, but it sure was special. You are signed up for Loco, aren't you? We aren't doing the Liberty cruise as it occurs just 2 months after we get back from our upcoming cruise, and 1 a year is all I can squeeze out of hubby....

Hey, my shoes are very serious business!!!! Ya' thought I was kidding about having a suitcase packed full of shoes, for my upcoming cruise, didn't ya? The problem is that I can't get them all in there, so now I need to have Greg bring up a bigger bag from the basement because I still have about 10 pr. I need to add, and they will just not go in there. Greg totally does not understand my absolute obsession with shoes - I have been on a bender lately so I probably have close to 400 prs. now. Here's a few pics of my attempts to pack them for the trip but have given up until he brings up another suitcase. I truly get a feeling of euphoria when I walk into a shoe store.

I never thought it was that unusual - I figured most ladies took that many!!! Sharon, I normally do not wear all the shoes I take, but I like having extras with me because I never know what I will be in the mood to wear. The first time we went to Paris, I had to buy another suitcase there just to hold all the shoes I bought. I can't recall that I have ever bought a pair while on a cruise though.
