CanadianCruiser
It's snowing on the Princess ships A daily snow flurry will fall in the atrium on December cruises aboard most ships in the Princess fleet, the line said today. The white Christmas touch is among several new features on holiday sailings. Also new this year are a gingerbread house-building competition, a crafts project where passengers can create a personalized photo ornament and the opportunity to relax in front of a traditional burning Yule log -- on stateroom television. Princess said the snow-making process will create falling flakes that vanish on contact. The daily flurry will occur on all ships except the three small vessels -- Pacific Princess, Tahitian Princess and Royal Princess -- which do not have large, multi-story atriums. Other events include caroling, holiday movies, activities for children and religious services. Passengers celebrating Hanukkah will also have special activities, decorations and services conducted by a rabbi during the Dec. 4-12 Festival of Lights. Where available, New Year’s bowl games will be broadcast in a shipboard lounge or on Movies Under the Stars’ giant screens.
rogue
I love the sound of that. Maybe one day we'll cruise over the holidays.
