CanadianCruiser
Scream With Excitement over NCL’s Halloween Festivities MIAMI, OCT 19 – Calling all witches, goblins and ghosts; Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) invites guests to enjoy Halloween on the high seas. Guests can book last-minute on NCL ships and take advantage of great deals that are no trick, just a treat for those looking for a high-style Halloween getaway. All NCL and NCL America ships sailing over October 31 have created special Halloween festivities including haunted house theme parties, trick-or-treating, dance and costume contests and festive entertainment. For example, Norwegian Star will bring back the disco era with an 80s-themed Halloween Prom, a haunted house and a special performance of Michael Jackson’s Thriller by the ship’s dancers. Norwegian Sun will offer cruisers Halloween activities such as trick or treat bingo, a children’s haunted house and midnight horror movie screenings. Pride of America will celebrate in style with a celebrity look-a-like contest, a spooky maze and a “Monster Mash†with band, along with a Halloween carnival for children. All ships will also feature frightening Halloween-themed cocktails such as the Vampire, made with vodka, black raspberry liqueur and cranberry juice, along with Dracula’s Kiss, made with black cherry vodka, grenadine and coca-cola. Special buffet treats will also be featured including: pecan caramel spiders, pumpkin bars, ghoulish cup cakes, peanut butter pie and more. NCL’s signature Freestyle Cruising offers guests the flexibility of having no fixed schedules or dining times, no formal dress codes and a variety of activity options. Halloween guests can jump on their broom stick any time to enjoy dining at different on-board restaurants each night of their ghoulish journey, savor Halloween cocktails on their own schedule, explore exotic destinations or simply do nothing at all!
