Delight in the "Magic" and "Wonder" of the Holidays with Disney Cruises

Disney, children, and the holidays all seem to go together. So, it's no surprise that Disney Cruises has some exciting cruise options for the 2007 December holiday season. The Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder will be extra festive from Halloween through the New Year. The party began earlier this past week with a Halloween party filled with candy and costumes.

Then, beginning in late November, the spirit of the season will surround cruise passengers from the moment they arrive at Port Canaveral, Fla. Disney characters decked out in their finest holiday attire will welcome guests to the lavishly decorated cruise terminal. Mickey and Minnie Mouse will even don Thanksgiving costumes to celebrate the big day, as passengers are feted with roast turkey, stuffing and all the trimmings. After enjoying as much as they care to eat, guests can relax in a deck chair or partake in some of the many shipboard activities such as themed craft projects for the children. For the December holiday season, Castaway Cay will be transformed from a beach resort to a winter wonderland -- only Disney could pull something like that off!

The festivities begin on the Disney Magic on a seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruise departing on Nov. 24, and on a special four-night Bahamian cruise leaving Nov. 21. Guests wishing to spend the Christmas holiday onboard Disney Cruise Line can enjoy a seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruise beginning Dec. 22, or a four-night Bahamian cruise departing Dec. 23.
