Guest services would be the thing.. we could tolerate a loage ship if the ratio staff to guest was high enough... "We like to be serviced .. not herded"

For us it is a combination, not just one thing. We prefer medium size to small ships, partly because of the guest services ratio, and excellent food and food service. But the deciding points for us are what is available at the time we can cruise, and the itinerary. Within that criteria, the guest services and food would be the deciding factor.

i feel the staff will either make or break the cruise

if you feel ignored then the cruise is a mess...

thats why i enjoy celebrity everyone smiles greets you , no matter where you are...

Definately service. Most minor problems that occur while you are cruising can be taken care of by a helpful kind staff member

Good service and food matters to Marc, and I look for three things, good service, good food, and good entertainment. Good service is probably first, though, without that the the others wouldn't mean as much.

The most important to us is probably the nightlife. We like to stay out late and sleep late.We take a cruise for total relaxation. Great service is expected and so far, we have not been disappointed. We don't let minor glitches bother us.

Good food is also expected, however we are not to fussy, as the worst food we've had is still better than what we get around here.
